Introduction

Rottingdean Village Public Hall is a traditional public venue catering for a wide range of functions, classes and societies. It was built in 1935 in the Art Deco style. Although the hall is owned by Brighton and Hove City Council, it is managed by a volunteer committee. This group oversees the running and maintenance of the hall on a not for profit making basis, entirely for the benefit of the community.

The hall is located in Park Road, which is just off the main High Street in Rottingdean close to the sea front. The High Street is a busy and historic road, with many village shops and cafes. To the north of the street is the picturesque village green and pond, the Kipling Garden, and the Anglican and Roman Catholic Churches. The village is home to several old pubs. The city of Brighton and Hove is 4 miles west . Please see the "Contact" page for a map.
